The nongovernmental organization, First African Bicycle Information Organization (FABIO) has provided free bicycles ambulances to the health centers in Kibibi, Uganda. With fewer than 10% of the Ugandan population serviced by ambulances, such bicycles offer a sustainable and scalable solution to emergency health care access.
