The program is able to assess a child's home environment and determine the root of the neglect. The aim is to provide in-home resources such parenting classes, behavioral therapy, housing help, and addiction services. Giving families the tools they need to care for their children decreases the number of children facing the traumas of entering the foster care system and decreases the amount of money spent by the state.
